Sending out my manuscript

Well DLS, I have an update on my publishing journey. 
I have officially sent out my manuscript for Stel and the Violin to 3 publishers and 5 agents.  It's an illustrated children's story about a girl's imagination and other things.

A Toast to the Dreamshare Literary Society!

Tonight Reita and I met for coffee at the neighbourhood Bridgehead.  Three hours of catching up, chitchat and dreams later, we have created a pact to form the Dreamshare Literary Society.  Forged from the depths of Helm's Deep, the dark spaces of the attic where flowers reside, and with the saucy, indomitable spirit of those British islands hosting clandestine pig roasting parties under German occupation, we will be meeting once a month to share our latest writing, encourage each other's creativity, and offer constructive criticisms.  We are a pair of museophile/professor/theatrical/academic/Classical enthusiasts who are secret authors in the making. 

 

Here's to making literary dreams come true! (And to many late evenings of wine, gossip, and inspiration.)
